Custom drawings of your home, business or wedding venue to commemorate the special places in your life.

It's simple: I turn photos of your home or building into unique pieces of art, to gift or to treasure forever.

“Architecture is just art we live in.”

your venue

Capture life's biggest moments in a unique way. A portrait of your wedding venue makes a unique and thoughtful anniversary gift (especially perfect for the paper anniversary!)

A few easy steps to a custom piece of art!

A custom pen & ink drawing of a home or business makes for a unique, thoughtful gift, ideal for weddings, house-warming gifts, anniversaries and holidays.

These images can capture the memory of a childhood home or your beloved wedding venue, and look great framed. There is nothing more special than the gift of a piece of custom artwork your loved ones can proudly display!

Here's how the process works:

1. You submit the photos. The more you submit, the better! Include close-ups of important details that might not be as clear in the wide shot. Be sure to include at least one photo from the angle you'd like shown in the final drawing (such as straight on, or from a perspective angle to the side).

2. I create a pencil sketch for your approval. This is your opportunity to make minor edits, like..."You forgot to include the porch swing!" or "Can you take out the mailbox?"

3. Once I have your approval on the pencil sketch, I start the ink version.

The final product is an ink drawing completed with archival ink on heavy-weight acid free paper. Each piece comes in a clear plastic sleeve, and is packaged for safe shipping.

The Person Behind the Pen

I've been drawing my whole life, but it got pretty serious in architecture school, where I frequently shunned slick 3D rendering programs in favor of the charm of hand-drawn elevations. Halfway through my Masters of Architecture, I realized I liked drawing architecture and designing portfolios a lot more than I liked making sure stairwells were to code, so I jumped ship to Graphic Communications instead.

I now work full-time as a Graphic Designer by day, but at night I'm right back to my "pen & ink on paper" roots. I'm a firm believer that how you draw is directly tied to how you think, design, and problem solve.
